Perth Fashion FestivalGlance the new spring/summer collections at Perth's Fashion Festival. The show comprises free public events. It is a mix of catwalk shows, designer-led workshops and a model search. The Western Australia Fashion Awards are generally declared on the final night. King's Park FestivalThe Kings Park Festival in Perth commemorate the start of spring with jam packed month-long program of family events. Visitors can enjoy gardening workshops, guided walks and entertainment, all against a background of blossoming trees and local wildflower exhibits. Western Australia PrideThe three-week event includes theatre, live music, a community picnic and a vibrant street parade. The festival is commenced in style with Fairday, a huge community picnic in Russell Square, with cabaret singers, live music and dancing. The next three weeks are filled with lively merriment, serious debates and arts events. The festivities round off with the all-singing, all-dancing Pride Parade.
