Adelaide is the capital of South Australia and Australia’s fifth-largest city. It has an estimated population of more than 1.28million. It is a coastal city situated on the eastern shores ofGulf St Vincent, on the Adelaide Plains, north of the Fleurieu, between Gulf St Vincent and the low-lying Mount Lofty Ranges. The fringes reach roughly 20km from the coast to the foothills but covers 100km from Gawler at its northern extent to Sellicks Beach in the south.
